Overview

This Blog follows the shenanigans on a motorcycle tour of California, Utah, Colorado and Nevada from 7th to 15th September 2013. It is lead by the fearless Rafe Miller with guest riders from down under brothers Alan and Colin (aka Sam) Bateman. To be consistent with the local riders the brothers Grimm hired a couple of tractors ... sorry Harley Road Kings. Alan normally rides a BMW R 1200 GS and Colin rides a Honda VFR800.

5th September 2013 - My Brother Didn't Fill in the Blog

I finally managed to get the bloody blog to work.. What a circus registering with Google etc. Much more complicated than last time. Anyway I will be filling in the Blog from my copious notes taken during the ride. It was an adventure we both had been wanting to do - ride in the USA. Perhaps not on Harleys, but we had to try. Rafe was the ideal host as he had organised these rides for years and knew all the best places to visit. As you will find out he could control most things but not his rough mates and not the weather!
